  • Behind Enemy Lines

    20/04/2008 Duration: 03min

To make a long story short, I threw this thing together in a few hours the other day when I was feeling a little down. Time is the only real constant as far as I'm concerned. There really is a story behind this track, but it's not worth sharing.

  • DJ Tolerance Spring Mix

    14/04/2008 Duration: 01h26min

The third and final version of my Spring mix. I released two earlier versions of this mix each with a major audio problem somewhere in the mix. I went through and made sure this third mix is complete. Please take the time to listen to a mix of all the tracks/mixes that I think are worth your time. I tried to include many newer tracks as well as older more recognizable things. Enjoy as always, and thanks for listening. PS. To the listeners that actually downloaded my first two versions, I'm sorry for my carelessness in completely missing both of those glitches in the mix. I don't know how that happened. Thanks again

  • Bust Back in Here

    17/03/2008 Duration: 03min

I've started experimenting with making my own mash-ups and remixes lately and will make a point of it not to post them on my podcast. I do, however, feel like sharing at least one to give everyone an idea of what I've been working on in my spare time lately. There are no custom beats or anything like that in this one, but it's something I can definitely see myself playing at an event or on a podcast someday. I had to throw in a lame "DJ Tolerance" sample at the very beginning to keep it my own. Anyway, tell me what you think. And yes, I kept it simple on purpose; by keeping it simple I make it practical and by making it practical I can actually get some use out of it. Enjoy as always

  • Air Traffic

    12/03/2008 Duration: 01min

Just sharing a track I threw together at DVC the other week. I played most of the track in Reason and exported the groups as separate audio files and imported them into Cubase to work with them some more. I don't know where the heck I found the crazy samples I used, but I distorted the heck out of them for fun. I was experimenting with plug-ins and equalizers quite a bit on this one and rather like the way it turned out. P.S. Unless you have a sub, you won't hear it the same way I do. In case you don't already know, I don't play any instruments, so these outrageously simple chords are hard for me to play haha

  • The Chemistry of Sound

    13/02/2008 Duration: 48min

Another typical drum & bass podcast until the end where I start throwing in my own spin on Drum & Bass. Throwing top 40 tracks over D&B beats produces what I think is an amazing combination of sounds. I've really grown fond of this blend of rap vocals with the hypnotizing bass and beats of drum & bass. I might make something of this someday, but until then, please tell me what you think. I've been experimenting with meshing pure vocal tracks with these D&B beats, but I haven't produced anything I'm ready to share yet. Keep your eyes and ears open for any new developments.
