Synopsis

An at least weekly show where I ramble mindlessly trying to find subjects I find interesting to talk about in the worlds of gaming and film. While also forgetting to not talk about my life, life in general and the world around me.

Episodes

  • Tolerance Camp 009; Best TV and Film of 2017

    24/01/2018 Duration: 59min

Long story short this is the last episode of the new years spectacular, by spectacular I mean Average and by Average I mean so-so.  We run through a list of the things we loved from this year, one of which I totally am justified in putting down on a technicality. I don't know if Beard ever got around to watching Baby Driver but I will assume he may have and he loved it so lets act like I had that covered properly. There was supposed to be links included in this episode but due to a power problem that put to rest my unsaved notepad of links lets just call this a wash and wait for the episode 10 revamping of the podcast. I stand by all of my choices and none of Beards, if American Gods is as good as I want it to be I may be better off imagining how it is instead of just watching it.   Honorable mention to follow this, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt has been cracking me up lately and would've made the list if I didn't start a week ago. Wish me luck on my trip to Osaka, the 6th will be the next episode and

    10/01/2018 Duration: 01h53min

So beard and I got together New Years Eve and decided to pop off a top 10 list of games we played this year. It's boring as shit if you don't play games but at this point you should be used to it. That's all for the intro, if you want to know the games just skip through or wait for next weeks ep where I will recap in either a blog post or episode 9's description.  I took a mini hiatus to deal with wedding stuff for a day then weeks for being a depressed lazy sack of shit. So to combat this type of behavior I am no longer responding to emails as they are starting to feel like work and minimizing my Twitter activity to a couple hours a day. Both of these things feel like work and its costing the podcast content, down the road I will probably roll back this and go back in but for now I hang up my social hat and focus more on the podcast itself. I will write a blog post after uploading this on the website ( Tolerance.camp ) and start recording in advance instead of rushing to get content out within a 2 day

After 400 million dollar lawsuit got dropped on his head like a potted plant straight out of its low hanging early 00s comedy source, Asterios finally blesses the show. We talk about disliking The Neverending Story, The Last Jedi, the original Oceans Eleven and how he got into comedy.  Asterios came in swinging like a Greek Stay Puft Marshmallow Man at my weak openings which just made me more determined to find my thing so I decided to flip it and set it up like its his show. Who's laughing now?    This weeks episode had a problem with his audio I wish I caught earlier, its only incentive to get him back on soon. I did my best to edit out the loud random clicking which came at the expense of some of the audio after the 10 minute mark. If he wasn't being sued, I would encourage him to find a new microphone or XLR cord.   To make matters worse, I lost my original files and had to struggle through system restores after a power outage fucked up all my work. This week I plan on uploading a lot

  • Tolerance Camp 006

    14/12/2017 Duration: 01h31min

This week we run almost straight into talking about the Monster Hunter beta, just after realizing I should probably figure out a better way to open a podcast. Maybe I should run a sound byte? Or do I do a slightly different version of a catchphrase? I really don't want to be the guy who reminds you what Podcast you're listening to every 3 minutes   After MHW discussion we get into Xenoblade Chronicles 2 then roll into trying to convince Beard to publish his own book. I start to convince myself I'm pissing hot which has only gotten worse over the last 24 hours, seeing big movie releases and then tooth problems. Brush your fucking teeth people.     This weeks Podcast was not brought to you by LIJoe, but for real I need this guy to give me a schedule. At this point I am dedicated to seeing it through to the end.

    30/11/2017 Duration: 01h33min

This week I try to make up for my lack of previous episode by pulling back in poor Beard to cover for my short hospital worthy bout of sickness.   In this interview, we basically drop the ball right off the hop and decide to just chat about life and things we've been doing. Apparently Beard didn't really like Punisher, surprisingly I plan on keeping him as a friend. Also in this episode I talk about the beautiful LI Joe several times in attempts to get that interview fast tracked and drop some weird stories of my past, crack smells like someone spread their ass and somehow waxed the walls with it. -Video game news is S H I T this week so fuck everyone except for Siliconera.- Homeless/Crazy People are one of my little joys in life and an open invitation stands to anyone who wants to share their experiences with me on the podcast from here on out.   I now head to bed hoping I get in an hour of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 before work tomorrow and then I am off for a week to work on games and a double podcas

  • Tolerance Camp Episode 004

    18/11/2017 Duration: 01h51min

This week we welcome our first guest, an old friend and joining us anonymously as Beard - Definitely not a writer, though he should be! This interview we don't discuss his personal life but jump straight into his primary interests, Video Games. Hitting topics like 'Why can't you commit to finishing a game' and begin what will be a long coming tradition of plugging LI Joe in every chance I get.. . Why? I have no idea but Shoutout to LI Joe, Americas Sweetheart and Ice Cream connoisseur. Games discussed were Dauntless, Monster Hunter World, the experience robbed of him during KOTOR and we almost get into politics of which I fumble while trying to relax my anus from the throbbing pain of an uncomfortable chair. This was my first time doing a long distance recording with and thankfully it was pretty easy to sort out. Thanks for listening and I'll see you next week.

    11/11/2017 Duration: 24min

So in this weeks episode I decided to try out a new recording program and it went absolutely terrible. I did my best to fix it up and was forced to cut a lot and re-record the end but as they say "The Show Must Go On".  This week I complain a bit about Famitsu, pay my respects to several things that left our lives this week or will be soon to follow. I would write more about the episode but at this point I am not sure what I actually left in anymore so enjoy and feel free to email shitting on me for the mistakes.

  • Tolerance Camp Episode 002

    06/11/2017 Duration: 45min

50 downloads, FIFTY! I did it, I am basically a king and its time to fold- Is what I would say if I wasn't starting to enjoy this.   I took in some feedback, talked about it on the show and gave myself another shot to get it a bit more right. I appreciate the donation of time, a total of 50-something hours and hopefully many more. Hit me up on twitter @tolerancecamp or use my website to drop me an email and see you all in a few days.   Spoilers; OJ Definitely did it

I did it, I released my own podcast much to I'm sure the dismay of many people around the world. Finally, I gathered the courage, a little effort and made it possible for people who never wanted my opinion the chance to come across my creation and groan in disgust.   Somewhere between my lack of professionalism and what little hope I have left for the future, I sincerely hope someone finds me entertaining and enough people tag along for the ride for me to gain traction and take on the internet by storm.
