Particularly in the U.S., the ingredients in our food are unrecognizable, often creating an addiction to eating more foods that might taste good, but are harmful to us, causing health issues such as diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure, and early mortality. Kristen Coffield, Founder, The Culinary Cure and Active Grandparenting
02/12/2024 Duration: 44minPlease welcome to our show Kristen Coffield, founder of The Culinary Cure and Active Grandparenting, who joins us to discuss how to feel better as we age. It’s not easy, but small starts help, such as hydrating. If we do anything every day, drink enough water. It’s good for our organs, skin, diet, and overall health. And if we’re hydrated properly, everything else follows. Getting older is NOT easy, particularly when kids leave, parents pass on, and the life we knew for decades makes an abrupt change. It’s hard, it hurts, and often we slip down the rabbit hole of making poor choices, leading to a slew of health issues. And getting out of bad habits only gets harder. Kristen knows, because she’s been there, and fought her way back. Please join our discussion today with Kristen Coffield on all video and audio podcast platforms of #DeborahKobyltLIVE, and invite your friends, too. I’m your host, and it’s my pleasure to welcome you here.

I remember having little kids and people saying, “it goes fast.” That’s a lie...because it goes by even faster! While I have a full life with friends and work I enjoy, I still find myself looking at the phone hoping to hear from one of my three boys. And it happens a lot. Is it normal? Yup. But not if it consumes us to the point where we can’t enjoy life. And that’s where “Life After Kids” comes in. Drs. Lynne and Brooke help us step into that next level with purpose. It can be small or it can be big, but it’s a necessary step to finding fulfillment without our kids under one roof. Do I secretly wish my kids would all live here, or next door, or even in the next town? Yup. But they don’t, at least not now. So I’m figuring it out

02/10/2024 Duration: 50minMost of us in LA know Fritz Coleman as the former weathercaster from NBC4 Los Angeles, giving us the sunny forecast of seven sun-balls for the week ahead. Scott Ryan, Author, Designer, Publisher
18/09/2024 Duration: 33minPublisher and author Scott Ryan is like Google when it comes to TV and film. He knows the genres intimately, and has written niche books about everything from Letterman to Streisand. Today, he joins us to discuss his latest book, “The Last Days Of Cinema,” which is a brilliant look at cinema in the 90’s and the impact those films had on pop culture at the time and in retrospect, today. Scott selected twenty-five films to for his book from thousands made in the 1990’s, from Goodfellas to Magnolia and so many others classics, and he was very strategic in his selection. He’s analyzed how films of the 90s shaped our culture, which was the last decade before social media took over and influenced millions. Having just returned from the #VeniceFilmFestival, I saw some magnificent films, but I’ll admit there’s a difference between films today and 30 years ago. I’ll ask him about that, perhaps it’s because of streaming, with less people collectively going to the movies? Scott has written many books including “Last Day

David’s personal experience as a child witnessing a mass shooting while his mother was dying undoubtedly had a profound effect on him. He went on to teach physicians, police officers, and first responders about grief and how to best handle grief. But he wasn’t prepared for what followed, which was the untimely death of his 21-year-old son. That profound grief prompted him to write his latest book, “Finding Meaning,” which has helped thousands do the same. Also, grief extends beyond death. It includes the loss of a relationship, job, or something of meaning that extends to loss. He will talk about that, too. Please join me i
