It’s True Crime Week, and you all know what that means? You’re getting two true crime stories that will leave you thinking, confused, maybe sad, maybe excited — who knows? Now this special week, and final episode of the season, we’re featuring the story of a woman who was murdered on her honeymoon under very suspicious and strange circumstances. The other case of this episode, is brought to you by our Johanna; she’ll be telling us a case about a young boy who escaped the crushing clutches of a man, who later became known as the Bonecrusher. This episode is not for the fainthearted.

It’s our 19th episode this week and we’re excited to open up the entire floor to discussion. You see, this is a very different and experimental episode in which we without script discuss crime scene photos and their effect on us and society. We will be delving deep into the crime scene photos that have affected us, and furthermore discuss why people are fascinated by the phenomena that is the Crime Scene Photo. 

This week features a topic we’ve been looking forward to discuss for some time, namely missing masses. As true crime and mystery nerds, we know that a person can disappear without a trace. We have so many well-known missing people cases like Madeleine McCann, Jimmy Hoffa, Natalee Holloway, Asha Degree, Brandon Lawson, Jodi Huisentruit, and the list goes on and on. People are stolen. People disappear. But usually these cases have two components: foul play and someone who knows something but is choosing not to speak up; and furthermore most often these cases involve one person vanishing or maybe even two. But what happens when masses vanish into thin air? In our 18th episode, Linnea will be telling us the story of America’s oldest and chilliest cold case and Johanna with be introducing us to a creepy case of a village missing every live inhabitant… and even its dead.

It’s true crime week, and we have a really special episode for you guys! This week Linnea tells us about a case, which has haunted her for years, and after this episode it’s sure to haunt you too. It’s not just going to pull at your heartstrings, but sure to keep you wide awake for a few nights. Our other host, Johanna, has decided, after the previous true crime week, to take us these upcoming true crime weeks deep into the belly of cases concerning black metal and satanism. Can we say Hell yes?! 

This is our 16th episode and we couldn’t be more excited! As a little homage to our very first episode, we’ll today be discussing the many ways that one can be executed. Among our list of deadly endings, we’ll be covering the various ways an elephant can kill you and how long you might live after having your ribs severed from your spine....

This week we’re bringing you our first paranormal episode with focus on ghosts. Fourteen episodes and we’ve never talked about ghosts?! How is that possible? It’s about time. So this week Johanna will be telling us the terrifying and fascinating history of one of the most haunted places in not only our home country of Sweden, but in the world, namely Borgvattnets Prästgård. And Linnea will be bringing you the only known case where a ghost’s testimony was used to convict a murderer, and she’ll be introducing you to someone named Erasmus Stribbling Trout Shue… yes, that is a real name.

So this week, it’s time for some true crime, which means  we have some absolutely gut-wrenching stories. Johanna will tell you all about a fairly unknown Satanic murder which will leave you heartbroken and honestly, extremely pissed off. Linnea will open up with a bit of a tmi story and follow that with the case of a murdered boy, which has to this day still not been solved despite there really only being one suspect. So strap yourselves in, make yourselves comfortable — this is going to be a dark ride.

Our thirteenth episode focuses on two of our favorite mysteries. Johanna tells us a story that is too impossible that it has to been true, about a pair of twins, who might actually be their dead older sisters reincarnated... Not resurrected, reincarnated. Whilst, Linnea takes us to the high seas, where sound effects have been lavishly used. Linnea will explore the legend of the Ourang Medan, which might make you rethink your next boat trip.

This is our twelfth episode and we’re doing another Single Story episode – this time Johanna wants to tell you all a story; and this a story that has captured her mind and fascinated her for several years now. She wants to tell you the story of what may be deemed the most famous case of an exorcism, an exorcism that has inspired films, books and legends. Johanna would like to tell you the story of Anneliese Michel. So sit down, buckle up, open the ear holes and prepare yourselves for a tale that has more questions than answers.

This is our eleventh episode and fourth true crime episode. This week is all about how lives can be lost and how lives can be found. Johanna and Linnea discuss very different cases, with very different outcomes; what they have in common is that they both cover people who steal. People who decide that they have the right to take what isn’t theirs, whether it’s a personal object, a life or someone’s dignity. This is truly an episode for true crime enthusiasts seeing as both cases have for some reason barely been covered in today’s media.

Don’t listen to this episode if you’re about to have surgery or even know someone who’s about to have surgery.... This week is all about what can go wrong when the good ol’ doctor puts you under the knife! Johanna and Linnéa are going to discuss both historical and modern accounts of major medical blunders that will have you rethinking ever going to the doctor’s. Questions like: what can be forgotten in you once you’re sewn back up? What happens if you wake up mid surgery? What happens if you’re just a doctor’s guinea pig? Are all questions that’ll be discussed in this week’s stories!

Our ninth episode is all about discussing the mythological creatures of our personal nightmares. Johanna takes us straight into the magical northern woods of Sweden where practically everything wants to kill you… beware of a violin’s melody sweetly guiding you to the depths of secluded lakes and keep an eye open for running babies. Linnea will be taking you to the Emerald isle, where between the quaint rolling countryside hills and below the mist, there lives a race of wee folk called the Leprechauns.

Our eighth episode will have you traveling to our home here in Sweden, where you’ll be told Sweden’s most notorious true crime case, and one of the worst cases concerning child abuse that you’ll most likely ever hear. The other case will have you traveling to the States, where you’ll hear a story so unusual and unique, that you’ll quickly realize that it’s literally one of a kind. Both Johanna and Linnea are going to tell very different stories that have touched their hearts and which they feel need to be told. The stories are complete opposites and will leave you questioning if maybe we need to take more precautions and safety measures when it comes to protecting  society’s most innocent: our children.

It’s a dreary rainy day here in the recording living room. The rain is pouring down in cascades and there’s no chance we’ll be leaving our cozy sofa and cups of steaming tea anytime soon. This stormy March morning is the perfect setting for today’s episode, where Linnéa is going to tell Johanna a story about an unsinkable ship that she’s studied she since was six years old. This ship has captured the imaginations of people for over a hundred years, and today, it’s once again time to open our history books and drift back into a bygone age. Let’s go back in time together and walk the same decks and promenades the richest people in the world did; let’s shake hands with a captain, who in the time of need, failed his crew and ship; let’s go back to the hour and place where 1500 people were dragged down into the freezing abyss of the North Atlantic. Let’s go back to the RMS Titanic.

So dolls… they’re essentially created to be as creepy as possible – they’re miniature humans with glass eyes. This glorious episode we’re going to dive into the history and even do some scientific research into why dolls are considered creepy, and how pop culture has jumped onto the creepy doll train, or did pop culture create the creepy doll train? For how long have dolls actually been considered creepy? We’ll be answering all these questions and more; we might also have some chilling tales about alleged possessed dolls, and there might be a moment when Johanna realizes that one of her terrifying tales has gone too far...

Episode five focuses on two cases concerning siblings that have done some quite disturbing things… Let's just say that they make Katherine Knight look like a sweet preschool teacher. Part 2/2. The night of this recording, was a long night since we were almost too terrified to close our eyes…. or at least Linnea was. During this two part episode, we take on sleep paralysis from three directions: the scientific direction, the spiritual and paranormal direction, and the first hand direction seeing as Linnea suffers from sleep paralysis and she also has a very creepy interview with a friend who has a recurring SP of an old lady in his room...

In our third episode of this season we look back at a time when ladies with cinched waists wore glorious gowns and flirted behind velvet fans; a time when women sat in dim lit parlours with heaving bosoms and flushed cheeks; a time when women wove their hair into halos of elaborate  braids and plaits; a time when taking baths in arsenic was all the rage, and dropping nightshade into your eyeballs was the only way to go!
