  • Galatians 1:1-10 "A Fight Worth Having" [04.23.2017]

    23/04/2017 Duration: 32min

Daniel’s main idea with this sermon is how Paul, the Apostle, was willing to fight for the truth and freedom of the gospel. There were teachers in Galatia distorting the true gospel and it was leading to people in the churches deserting the true gospel. A centered faith is a faith in Christ alone, plus nothing, that leads to worship and freedom.

It is actually in understanding our sin that the gospel of Jesus and God's grace breaks through and changes us.

We must run to God; beholding His beauty, knowing Him in our suffering, and living in community.

Pastor Timothy continues in our sermon series on the Life of David discussing a cure for our jealousy. We all have been infected with this disease of jealousy that convinces us that our worth and value is measured comparatively. That in order to be valuable we have to be better than other people. And the only way to cure this disease is to come to a deeper understanding of our “anointing.” Of God’s declaration that we are his and that we matter. Then and only then will we stop looking for our self worth in the approval of others and be set free to celebrate and enjoy the good fortune of others (to dance).
