Episodes

  • Young Buck: Wingin' It

    12/09/2020 Duration: 01h20min

Neither Barry nor LaToya bothered to fill in the agenda for this week so there’s no telling where the conversation may go! Additionally, LaToya is more sleep-deprived than usual and with lower inhibitions, T’Challa proves to be the most responsible and sane. Barry also needs to know if something is racist and asks LaToya. Yeh, really!

  • A Trip to the Dentist: YouTube Aspirations

    05/09/2020 Duration: 01h31min

It’s another week where the hosts fail to record on show day. Saturday is the new Thursday. Both hosts have had a rough week and there is no T’Challa to keep them from their doom and gloom. Barry attends a football game and listens to new music while LaToya gives her feedback on WAP and an early Christmas. Plus, LaToya manages to unintentionally talk Barry out of paying for and watching the new live-action version of Mulan.

  • The Death of Black Panther: That’s an Ice Cream WAP

    29/08/2020 Duration: 01h17min

Despite the lateness in recording this week’s show, the delay falls on the heels of the passing of Black Panther actor, Chadwick Boseman. The year 2020 continues to be the worst in recent history. And speaking of history, the hosts get very worked up over what they feel could be a sign of the end times. Is it possible that the US will secede from its union? Why do we know so little about our own history? And how can we feel anything other than disappointment and exhaustion?

  • Goodbye, Allie Fox

    20/08/2020 Duration: 39min

After their usual 2-week hiatus the show is back. However, it’s not LaToya who’s bringing the initial doom and gloom to the episode. The hosts discuss the passing of the show’s biggest fan and LaToya wonders if the show should go on after the end of this season. Everyone is off-script and given the Zoom snafu, the show is finally a short one. Barry also shares his experience from the first day back at school with students in attendance.

  • Skywalker Ruin: Unicorn STD

    02/08/2020 Duration: 01h27min

The season comes to an end in a way that is both poignant and hopeful. Wait, what? No, it’s the same show but T’Challa is calling the shots. At least, he thinks he is. He provides the hosts with six surprise topics. LaToya takes no offense and Barry shows why his name is first on the title card. Depression Hurts.

  • Chubby Puppy: Gen X Radio

    16/07/2020 Duration: 01h18min

Georgia Governor Brian Kemp forbids localities to require masks despite the surge in cases. T’Challa is back and doesn’t seem quite so bored by LaToya, and Barry just can’t let Bigfoot or his animal fetishes go.

  • KISS of Gloom: Misophonia

    10/07/2020 Duration: 01h07min

Barry doesn’t want to do the show, so much so, his audio is terrible (sorry, fans). LaToya, also having a bad day, forces him to do the show because she hopes it improves his mood. As if. Shorter than the show’s typical runtime, they share what they’ve been up to, including insomnia, fatigue, television, and sprinkle in a bit about COVID-19 and Trump vs. Biden vs. Kanye.

  • I Want Your Sex: Workplace Proximity Acquaintances

    02/07/2020 Duration: 01h03min

Barry has a birds and bees conversation with a very shy and mortified T’Challa. LaToya points out how uncomfortable that convo is for us all. T’Challa keeps it 100 and tells LaToya that he’s bored by her, and Barry points out that her topics for discussion always seem to be steeped in depression. LaToya doesn’t give in to the peer pressure. She can only be her one true and authentic self. Plus, with 2020 being a problematic year, it’s hard for her to find joy.

  • Bigfoot Splash Mountain: Brown Skrimp Politician

    26/06/2020 Duration: 01h18min

Is it finally the end of Bigfoot erotica? Is Splash Mountain racist? Has Gone With the Wind returned to HBO Max? Should schools get rid of their resource officers? Is it shrimp or skrimp? Find out the answers to these questions with a healthy dose of Barry and LaToya’s antics. Plus, LaToya takes a break from television, and Barry dines in the hood.

  • Stop Your Blasphemy: About Race

    20/06/2020 Duration: 01h20min

LaToya has hijacked this week’s show by taking Barry’s breadcrumbs in their program guide and making it better. T’Challa isn’t thrilled about this week’s show, and Barry is determined to make what should have been a serious episode and coloring it. From Star Trek to Aunt Jemima, Juneteeth to The Neighborhood, this episode is sufficiently diverse and almost monster erotica-free.

  • Barry Bought a House: LaToya’s Favorite Racist Movie

    11/06/2020 Duration: 01h15min

Barry celebrates his BFF on Facebook but is temporarily rebuffed when she doesn’t notice or acknowledge the honor promptly. LaToya isn’t getting enough sleep and has two full-time jobs. • 23 Teeth: No Justice, No Peace

    04/06/2020 Duration: 01h26min

The hosts are tired. Is 2020 done yet? From COVID-19 to George Floyd, this week’s episode has an unequal sharing of highs and lows. Both Barry and LaToya are depressed. T’Challa is easing into the summer break. However, the weight of life is truly upon them. No amount of television watching can get them out of the funk. Maybe Barry’s teeth collection will.

  • Beastiality: The Bigfoot Contessa

    28/05/2020 Duration: 01h16min

Warning, this episode features torrid sex between a human female and a well-hung hominid. Listeners’ discretion is advised. LaToya finally started reading the now infamous monster erotica book and had a difficult time getting into it. She shares her thoughts as well as gives some spoilers. School’s out for the summer, and both Barry and T’Challa are glad. Plus, Barry has something to say about the new Hunger Games prequel, while LaToya continues to watch a lot of television.

  • Post Pants Society: Cuisine Nouveau

    21/05/2020 Duration: 01h23min

For the first time in recent memory, the show featured two guests. It was the return of T’Challa and the welcoming of Draknara. With the added people in the studio, talk, of course, gets political. LaToya is not quite as PC as she should be, and Barry is insistent on her reading Bigfoot Porn. He even goes as far as saying that there is a scenario where he may also write some monster erotica. Plus, LaToya is excited about the show being downloaded over 1,000 times. Barry rains on her parade by reminding her of how many shows they’ve recorded.

  • Draknara Approacheth: Painting by Numbers

    14/05/2020 Duration: 01h28min

It’s a T’Challa-free episode and the hosts take the conversation into very odd places. Barry is looking forward to a visit from Draknara, thirty years in the making. Will it be like the teenage version of himself as he again shares a home with his mother? LaToya downloaded the novel for the Monster Erotica challenge. Will it become a guilty pleasure? Find out who’s exercising and who’s not. Plus, consider how much screentime is enough.

  • Bigfoot Porn: One Week Off

    07/05/2020 Duration: 01h12min

They’re back for another season, and LaToya notes that given the shows recorded without her, she considered not coming back. But who could stay away from this show? Barry refers to an actor solely by their last name despite there being a two acting brother dynasty. He considers changing his writing genre. LaToya agrees to take part in a challenge, and T’Challa again joins the show. Soon it’ll be In the Stacks with Barry, LaToya & T’Challa.

  • Members Only Nerd Alert: Hot Girls Ocean

    30/04/2020 Duration: 30min

Again, where’s LaToya? Still, on hiatus, Barry records the show without her. T’Challa’s back and he and Barry take over the show. Barry schools T’Challa on how licensing works, and they both share what they’re currently reading and watching on television. Barry is saddened that the fruit of his loins doesn’t know all of The Avengers, and they both debate the evolution of the movie theater.

  • Christmas In April: Do No Harm

    23/04/2020 Duration: 30min

Where’s LaToya? During their hiatus, Barry opts to do the show without her. T’Challa’s home and he and Barry take over the show. They both provide commentary as a student and a teacher on what it’s like to be sheltered at home during COVID-19. Microsoft Teams? Extra-Extra Credit? Technology Challenges? Zoom? Plus, Barry shares his detox after reading a Hitler-based book. Star Trek. Also, is Barry a liar?

  • Hitler’s Monsters: Just Do The Right Thing

    16/04/2020 Duration: 01h40min

A season-ender has never been so political. In last week’s episode, Barry tasked LaToya with coming up with something special. What does she do? She over prepares for the show and turns it into “LaToya’s Stacks with LaToya featuring Barry.” If you haven’t gotten enough real-life COVID and Trump-driven dose of reality, you’ll get it here. It’s a lot to pack in before their two-week hiatus.

  • It’s Not Complicated: No Preparation

    09/04/2020 Duration: 01h19min

It’s clear how utterly boring LaToya is. She does virtually nothing in preparation for the episode. Barry must skillfully carry the show on his own back. Or, that’s what he’d have you believe. Despite the collective quasi-prep, the episode explores some darker themes, including bipolar disorder and self-harm. Plus, Barry talks about his harrowing two-mile journey.
