What will they think of the show? Will Paul remember to tell us what he is doing with his hands? In any event, this is the most intelligent discussion about My Big Fat Obnoxious Boss...ever. Paul watched Logan, while Paul watched Ladybird. Then, a new feature on the show: This Week in Tech with Dan L. Dan is skeptical about the Amazon health care idea, but enthusiastic about Elon Musk's flamethrower. Before the Pauls watch The Punisher, Paul has to explain to Paul about the inevitable Disney streaming platform that will arrive in the next few years. Then Paul, who did the lion's share of the prep for this podcast, fills us in on the concept before Paul muses on Soderbergh's career as a whole. The Pauls dive into the app for a little over 30 minutes before returning for their reflections. Is it as cool as it sounds? More importantly, is it any good? After the film, the Pauls compare Ragnarok to Guardians of the Galaxy and place this Thor within the Marvel universe. Then they muse on Ragnarok's connection to Lord of the Rings and Star Wars. Andy Sandberg's HBO sports mockumentary, Tour de Pharmacy, was not one of those disappointments. Paul suggests Nathan for You might be the best reality show on television. Paul learns some disturbing news about Paul's feelings for Seinfeld. Then the Pauls watch season 4, episode 6, "The Carpool Lane," followed by season 3, episode 8, "Krazee Eyez Killa," two of Paul's favorite episodes of the series. Will Paul like Curb Your Enthusiasm? Two Pauls, One Show twitter contest winner and Darren Aronovsky's #1 fan, Maarten Jacobs, joins the Pauls on the podcast to preview and then REview one of the most divisive films...certainly of the week...mother! The three discuss the proper punctuation of the film, as well as much more information than Dr. Paul is interested in knowing. Paul explains his preferred film viewing method; it involves being kidnapped to the theater. Next, Maarten challenges both Pauls to a pre-show quiz, and you won't belive who wins! Then Maarten shares the director's statement on the film, but only after Paul leaves the room.
