Breaking news! The United Methodist Church just denounced Christianity. They did so not in name, but in deed. At their annual conference, they set out guidelines, of which included the instruction to not solely use male pronouns for God. But, it doesn't stop there. I am like you, in that most of us have playlists of music we like to listen to. It has dawned on me as I have gotten older how many of these songs I have loved contain stupid life advice. There is some good, but it is very rare. The song Simple Man by Lynyrd Skynyrd is a beautiful song, but, there is a line in that song that is some of the worst advice you could be given. On the other hand, there is  one song by John Mellencamp that actually gives some great advice, and a song by U2 that contains some of the worst advice, wrapped in a beautiful package. It is sort of a dark fantasy that Time Magazine is exploring. It seems they have forgotten that Trump once was president and we got to see how he did things. Nayib Bukele, the leader of El Salvador, gathered every single official in each branch of government and told them that he was going to investigate each person for bribery. In my research for this show I came across a group called stophavingkids.org. Their website is well made and gross. It is a very cleverly veiled satanic lie that children will suffer for simply existing. One of their slogans is “The best way to avoid Hell is to never be born”. That’s also the best way to avoid heaven. In an article for the political, a dangerous event, apparently tied to white supremacy was reported on. The event in question is called NatoCon, an event to encourage individuals to have children. Apparently having kids is a far right idea.
