Episodes

  • Lethal Watching Episode 52 - Happy Birthday Mr Predator

    24/06/2012 Duration: 52min

It's a birthday show this week! But not for anyone of the show, rather it is the 25th Anniversary of the release of Predator! So join Gerard Martin and Phil as they find themselves deep in the jungle on the wrong side of an intergalactic space hunter who's only weakness is a tree trunk to the head. So don't expect an episode 53 then. This is the MP3 version of the show, check out iTunes for the full enhanced version.

  • Lethal Watching Episode 51 - Prequlitis

    10/06/2012 Duration: 01h12min

The Lethal Watching Team returns, this time to tackle the thorny issue of Prequels. What makes a good prequel? Has there actually been a good Prequel? When is a Prequel not a Prequel but a Reboot? Just what will make Martin so angry? Will Gerard ever shut up about his shiny new PS Vita? Will Phil stop asking questions when he's writing the podcast description? You'll find out most of the answers to these questions in this very podcast. OR WILL YOU? Pretty much. Oh, and Prometheus spoilers ahoy in this episode so listener beware! Enjoy!

  • Lethal Watching Episode 50 – The Five Flavours of Technobollocks

    27/05/2012 Duration: 01h26min

No one thought that we would ever (ever!) make it but here we are, fifty episodes since Gerard and Phil first sat down and talked about Superman for a very very long time. And what better way to celebrate that to get in a superb guest, every inch the internet celebrity of the moment, Ben Thomas aka the doyouinverts! He is here to discuss a topic close to his heart, which is Techno Bollocks and in particular the five flavours he has distilled it down into, which basically means that he's in charge and Gerard Martin and Phil get to goof off for the entire podcast. Also this week: why Gone In 60 Seconds is all about rape, plans for an art installation at the Tate Modern and why Ben does not want Phil to visit his house.

  • Lethal Watching Episode 49 - The Grand Dead Snow Experiment

    13/05/2012 Duration: 01h31min

Well. Bit of a strange episode this week as due to poor planning on the part of people who will not be mentioned (Gerard and Martin) Phil is alone this week, one man against an angry audience. So what does he pull out of his ass? A recording a commentary track recorded by himself and irregular LW guest Ryan Holland for the film Dead Snow recorded in sometime in (we think) 2010! How cool is that, right? Right? This is very much an experiment as will be explained in the podcast so if you have any feedback please send it in to lethal watching at abadeducation dot com and we'll see if we can make this a regular thing! Or not.

  • Lethal Watching Episode 48 - The Mel Brooks Special

    29/04/2012 Duration: 58min

And we're back! Finally! Thank you all for the flood of tweets and messages asking us where we were (ahem) so in celebration of the recent release of The Avengers, here's the Mel Brooks Special! Join Gerard, Martin and Phil as they look at three of Brooks' films and also chat about a whole heap of other stuff when they get bored. Enjoy!
