Yolanda Holder is a professional Ultra Marathon Walker and a 2-time Guinness World Record holder for “Most Marathons Completed in a Calendar Year”, finishing a staggering 106 marathons/ultras in 2010 and breaking her own record in 2012 finishing 120 marathons/ultras.  Yolanda is the first African American to Run or Walk over 100 marathons in a calendar year and the first woman in the world to ever do it twice. Michelle White-Jones is a talented, soulful songstress and a woman of faith who was born with music in her DNA.  She began her journey at the tender age of five, frequently ministering through song with her home church in Newark, NJ.    For many years, Michelle cultivated her gift and developed her unique style while singing with various gospel and R & B groups. In the late 1960's, I was destined and sent here on earth by my Eternal Father Yahweh for a special purpose. He appointed Frances McFarland and Weldon Singletary to be my biological parents.   From childhood to adulthood, life was full of test, trials and tribulations. While residing in different cities of Pennsylvania from childhood throughout my adulthood, life had spiraled down into a very deep dark place which consisted of drugs, prostitution and so much more.    During this time, I went under my birth name Cassandra McFarland which was a beautiful name my mother gave me. The name Cassandra means a prophetess who prophecy's were never heeded.    In mentioning the name, it attracted negative energy which followed me over two decades while evangelizing and even after I answered the call to preach the gospel in 2006. I was born in Findlay, Ohio. At the age of 16, my family moved to Sugar Land, TX. Shortly after moving, I began to write. No matter where I went, my writing followed. I wrote while attending University Of Houston, transferring and graduating from the University of Pittsburgh, graduate school at Bowling Green State University, marriage, fatherhood, and all points in between. Poetry is my snapshot in time because words mean more than pictures to me. They allow me to look, remember, and truly embrace each new experience.   I love the city of Houston. Harry Saffold Jr. is a native of Dothan, Alabama. His parents invested their best in him.Unfortunately, at age ten, he was sexually abused repeatedly by a relative. Nevertheless, every child enters the world with imaginary abilities. At the age of 17, Saffold appeared on the Ann Varner Morning Show and shared his book, “Avelon Kids”, and later with the Dothan Eagle newspaper. However; because Saffold drifted to the streets, involving himself in crime, he was sentenced to 12½ years in prison. Armed with a GED, Saffold paroled in 2008, but was confronted with a variety of setbacks, even homelessness.
