Nerd Ramble

Merry Christmas everybody! On our belated December episode, we take a look back at 2018 and talk about our favourite films and games of the last year. We also dive into Sony's massive animated release, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse (minor spoilers) and touch on a few recent releases too, such as Black Kkklansman, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Ralph Breaks the Internet and Bodied. We round it all off with a brief look at that Endgame trailer and the Video Game Awards. 

As we tinker with the format of our show, we get together for a comparatively breezy episode where we talk Pokemon Let's Go!, Equalizer 2, Quantum Break, Bodyguard, the end Robert Venditti's Green Lantern run and more!

Stan Lee, our lord and saviour has left us! Join us as we attempt to honour him as best we can. We're but a meer podcast and he was truly larger than life but we do our best! When we're not doing that though, Ben returns to help us discuss Black Ops 4, the Detective Pikachu trailer, Sully, Batman Ninja and the proposed Winter Soldier and Falcon series! Plus much more!

Bonus round! Welcome to our Pax wrap up episode! We attended all three days of Pax Australia 2018 and we thought we'd tell you all about it. Get our first thoughts of our hands-on demos of Rage 2, Division 2, Kingdom Hearts 3, Resident Evil 2, Days Gone, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Pokemon Let's Go! And more. We Are Nerd Ramble! After our brief break, we get around to talking about Venom in great detail. (Beware of spoilers from 20:06-23:42). And Ryan goes ham on all of the movies and TV series' he's watched in his downtime as the father of a newborn.

On this ep, we discuss Teen Titans Go! To the Movies, Ryan gives his thoughts on Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Brad tells us his final verdict on the second season of Iron Fist. We also go into to uproarious detail on season two of American Vandal, Ben takes a look at Leigh Whannel's Upgrades, We finally put an end to our I Kill Giants verdicts and we take a look at all the news and trailers including Bumblebee, Captain Marvel, Dark Phoenix and Joaquin Phoenix's Joker. Join us as we talk about one of the biggest game releases of the year, Marvel's Spider-Man! We also continue our discussion on the effects video games and movies have on our psyches and when we think is an appropriate age to start consuming adult media. As well as our usual absurd ramblings (this ep is especially ridiculous) we talk about The Meg, Oceans 8, Brad's first thoughts on Iron Fist and Henry Cavil's busy couple of weeks.

On the latest ep, Ryan (complete with unforeseen mic issues - apologies!) finally gives his thoughts on Justice League and we go over the hottest trailers from Gamescom 2018 including Cyberpunk 2077, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and Biomutant. We also briefly discuss the tragic Madden Tournament shooting in Florida, the beautiful Hollow Knight, Tomb Raider, Atomic Blonde, I Kill Giants, Suburbicon and all the latest news.

Darren fills in for Ben on our thirteenth (*shudders) episode! We take a look at a bunch of the latest trailers like Red Dead Redemption 2, Doom: Eternal and Rage 2. We also address the hubbub about emulation, Ryan gives his impressions on Castle Rock and a whole lot more!

What a week it's been! We launch straight into Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn's shock firing from Disney and Marvel after some alarming tweets came to light. On a lighter note we look at all the news, trailers and announcements from San Diego Comic-Con 2018. 

The guys return after the smallest of hiatuses to talk about the smallest heroes in the MCU. Our thoughts on Ant-Man & The Wasp (*spoilers - times below) are here as well as a belated discussion on The Incredibles 2 and Brad's thoughts on season two of Luke Cage.  We also take a look at the news including the death of the legendary Steve Ditko and a bizarre amount of odd casting choices. *Massive spoilers for Ant-Man & The Wasp and Avengers: Infinity War from 48:20 - 1:10:30.

It was the most exciting time of the year for gamers! E3 happened over the last week and we went over all the conferences and every game. So settle in and get our thoughts on the biggest upcoming games!

On this ep  Ben returns and we discuss Solo, Ryan gives his thoughts on State of Decay 2 and we look at all the latest news including the trailers for Bumblebee, Wreck-it-Ralph 2 and Into the Spider-verse!

We're back into it after our respite and this week we're joined by friend of the show Darren. We give our verdicts on Deadpool 2, State of Decay 2 and go through all of the latest news including the Rage 2 trailer, PS5 rumours and a boat load of upcoming Netflix content!

We're five episodes in and we recorded a mammoth episode last show for Infinity War so in the words of Kratos after his long and arduous journey, "Now we rest". So with no plan or topic in sight, kick back with the gang as they shoot the breeze, go over some news and even get a little nostalgic over their childhoods!

It's about that time! The biggest event of the year for nerds. We take a long, heavily spoilerific (you've been warned) look at the MCU's biggest film yet and break it down scene by scene!
