Train Stories #10 - The Working Woman
21/11/2016 Duration: 06minThis week's episode is a submission, courtesy of Courtney. Hollywood would have you believe that the woman this story is about is a fishnet-clad woman of the night working a street corner and getting into cars with strange men. Which may be the case in some places, but that is not what is encountered in today's story. Prostitute, whore, and call girl are names that don't quite fit the bill. Thus, the working woman.Featured music by Ketsa - www.ketsamusic.comSubmit your Train Story to trainstoriespodcast@gmail.com, for the chance to have it featured in a future episode!

Train Stories #9 - Odds & Ends
07/11/2016 Duration: 05minThis episode is a bit out of the ordinary for us - we're featuring three shorter stories, all of which are slightly off-kilter. Involving a head wound, vomiting, and house plants, these mini Train Stories are true odds and ends. Two stories come courtesy of first-time contributor Trevor. Enjoy

Train Stories #8 - Finding Waldo
31/10/2016 Duration: 04minGrowing up, I loved playing "Where's Waldo?" Well, truth be told, I only had one book and I was never any good at finding Waldo, but nonetheless I loved searching. There was something endlessly entertaining about scouring the hordes of colorful nobodies, looking for that signature bespectacled, smirking face. So you can imagine my delight when I boarded the train one night and the first thing I saw was - you guessed it - Waldo.

Train Stories #6 - The Purest Artist
03/10/2016 Duration: 05minI wasn't having the best day on the day this Train Story happened, but something told me I had a story coming to me, I just had to be patient. Then, on the train ride home from work, I was thrown directly into the middle of a story so intriguing I went immediately home and started working on this episode. Enjoy!

Train Stories #5 - Double the Hands, Double The Security
19/09/2016 Duration: 04minI recently went to a Cubs game at Wrigley Field with my girlfriend, which to any Chicagoan means an insane amount of tourists and fans packed together both in and out of the stadium. The train ends up being one of the most congested places, which makes for uncomfortable travel, but is ideal for finding Train Stories.

Train Stories #4 - Rivers of Age
05/09/2016 Duration: 04minI felt the old woman's eyes fastened on me, ice-cream scooping into my soul and digging up secrets even I had forgotten. I didn't dare look over, but I knew exactly what she looked like: head wrapped in a pale blue shawl, the cliff of the nose, the rivers of age running every direction. And she wouldn't stop staring...Featured music is by Blue Dot Sessions.Email in at trainstoriespodcast@gmail.com with your own train story for the chance to be featured on a future episode!Follow @trainstoriespod on Twitter for mini Train Stories and live tweets of particularly interesting train rides!

29/08/2016 Duration: 04minWhen you ride the train in Chicago, especially the Red Line, especially at rush hour on a weekday, all you're thinking about is yourself. Which is why I was surprised when I did give someone on the train a second thought, on the Red Line, at rush hour on a week day.Featured music by Blue Dot Sessions.Email in at trainstoriespodcast@gmail.com for the chance to have your story featured on a future episode!Follow @trainstoriespod on Twitter for mini Train Stories and live tweets of particularly interesting train rides!

Train Stories #2 - "What Is Jewel Osco?"
15/08/2016 Duration: 04minWe enjoyed a few stops of peace and quiet before the tour group of high schoolers clambered through the doors, flooding the train in a sea of matching teal t-shirts. The kids were loud, energetic, and took up a lot of space. As soon as they were on the train, all eyes were on them: who are these lanyard-toting young people, and why have they been thrown into my life?Featured music by Blue Dot Sessions.Follow Train Stories on Twitter @trainstoriespod!If you have your own Train Story, submit it to trainstoriespodcast@gmail.com for the chance to have it featured on a future episode!
