The final part of our stewardship series entitled "What if?" In this message we look at Isaiah 54:1-4 and how it calls us to get out of our comfort zone and do something 'extraordinary' for God, all the while trusting in His guidance and provisions for our lives. 

Living in God's kingdom takes certain principles and priorities. By looking at Matthew 6:19-34 we will see exactly what Jesus says should help shape our priorities in life help us be good stewards of what has been given to us by God. 

2 Chronicles 7:14-15 is a call and reminder for the people of Israel on the importance of true repentance and prayer before God. But what does this mean for us in today's world. We explore the principles found within this text and learn how it can make a difference in our lives

When people were asked what 3 words they most want to hear, their top answers were as follows: 1) I love you. 2) I forgive you. & 3) Dinner is Ready. When we look at Holy Communion as a means of grace we see those three phrases spelled out in our liturgy. 

The Means of Grace are how we experience God in everyday life, they are what add substance to the Christian life and are what helps us to fulfill our calling as Christ's disciples. Today we will look deeper at what exactly are the means of grace and the avenues we can experience God's transforming Grace.

The justifying grace of God is that which redeems us from our sinful life and sets us right. It launches us into a new life that can only come through Jesus Christ and the working of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

Today's message is the first in a 5 part series entitled "Grace: The Heart of our Wesleyan DNA", this message focus on the topic of prevenient Grace, the Grace that Woo's us. It reminds us that God's grace was there for us from the beginning, drawing us to God by his somewhat 'reckless love.' It pursued after us even when we wanted nothing to do with God, and showed us love anyway.

Through the power of the Holy Spirit working within us we are given great freedom. But with this new found freedom comes responsibility. We are given this freedom for a purpose which centers around the Kingdom of God.

Through our faith in Christ we are given a great power found in the freedom we have been given. But as in many cases we must choose how we are going to use our new found freedom. Through the power of the Holy Spirit we are offered potential for great transformation in our lives.

At the heart of our identity in Christ is a promise that was formed long ago through Abraham. We are called by God to live out that promise in our own lives through the power of Christ working in our lives.

Paul was a man who knew the law but he also knew that the law did us no good when we stand before God. He knew that only our faith in Jesus Christ could truly save us. And the good news is that it is through that faith in Jesus Christ we can truly find freedom.

Today we are looking at Galatians 1:11-24, where Paul talks about his faith Journey and how he went from a persecutor of Christians to a proclaimer of Christ. This is a brief introduction of what is involved in sharing our faith story and how through our stories we can help people find "A life worth living."

This mornings message is entitled "The Gospel According to _____?" where we look at Paul's warning to be leery of the false gospels being propagated by others, and make sure we follow the one true Gospel of Jesus Christ.

This is part 4 of our Rooted in Christ series. In Col 4:2-6 Paul calls upon the Church to be rooted in prayer. To do so he challenges us to be 1)devoted, 2)watchful, and 3)thankful. Following these characteristics can help us grow closer and deepen our relationship with Christ.

This is part 3 of a 4 part series out of the book of Colossians. Today's message focuses on the idea of living community starts within ourselves. As we begin to live a 'holy' life following Christ and learning to 'let love rule our lives' it will not only draw others to us but ultimately point others to Christ. None of this is easy but can be accomplished through the power of the Holy Spirit working within us and through us.

Paul’s primary theme found in the book of Colossians is about the supremacy of Christ. If we are going to fully follow Christ we must be rooted and grounded not only in his teachings but in Him as well. Colossians 2:7a says "Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him." This series is designed to help us understand not just whom we are to be rooted in by also why.Today's message is about gaining a deeper understanding of who Jesus is through the eyes of the Apostle Paul and how we can see Christ in everyday life.

Rise Up from Homelessness--John 14:18-29 God wants to be that at home with us and asks us to be that at home with one another. In a community of faith, no one should feel lonely, orphaned, or homeless. We exist to live in relationships with God and each other.

Rise Up from the Depths--Psalm 23 Mental illness, including depression, anxiety, and suicide, is so common that it shouldn’t be taboo to talk about it or to admit when we are dealing with it personally. God walks with us in our darkest valleys, and the church must be a place where we talk about mental health and support one another with openness, honesty, and support. *Trigger warning: this sermon deals with difficult subjects including depression, anxiety, and suicide.*

Rise Up from Doubt--John 20:19-31 Doubt is not the enemy. Pursuing answers to our doubts is where our faith grows roots, deep roots! Ignoring doubts, discounting doubts, banning doubts is what causes the cracks in the foundation of our faith.
