The State of the Union's Health is frustrating (to say the least)! In this episode, Dr America covers what's going on with CHIP, DACA, new attacks on Medicaid patients, and the Trump regime's plans to legalize discrimination in health care. But there are some bright spots of hope with the MeToo movement and everyday people fighting for health justice!

Following the violence in Charlottesville, Dr America talks about how overt racism is connected to covert racism. At individual and institutional levels, there's a lot of work to do, but are we ready to get uncomfortable? Like James Baldwin said, "Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced.
