    The White House has tapped Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez to lead the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement — the agency that Gonzalez challenged under former President Donald Trump. Gonzalez wasn't the only Texan in national political news yesterday. Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller is suing the federal government over a program that provides debt relief to racially and ethnically diverse farmers and ranchers that he says discriminates against white ones, including himself.
