Synopsis

What are your thoughts on the state of society? Let's face it we, as a nation, are struggling. From the insane amount of violence that floods this nation to the thoughtless actions taking place in office we are all left confused. Not only are we confused but we are also paranoid and lost. We are also misunderstood, ignored, hurt, and forgotten. A lot of this comes from our inability to challenge ourselves to gain a better perspective on life and the many things it encompasses. We say we are listening, but we are just hearing what is being said and already know what our response is before the other party has even completed their statement. So much tension, chaos, and warfare exists, but there are no real discussions. When is the last time you had a heart to heart conversation. Remember how much you opened up? If you didn't open up then it was not a heart to heart. It is time for more heart to heart and mind to mind discussion. We need to not only gain more understanding, but seek it. Understanding is sought out when we have an open mind and practice pure listening skills.
