  • HHG2W #2 Chameleon Circuit

    16/01/2010 Duration: 02min

Finally... A better representation of what we do here at the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Whoverse, that is we ineptly try to explain common terms found in the Doctor Who universe that any time tot could probably expertly explain to you in half the time.A chameleon circuit is not quite the easiest thing to explain. By the very nature of the beast it can appear in the guise of many countless different forms, not the least of which is a very famous Trock band.Reaching back in time, we present to you our 2nd entry originally produced July 27, 2006. • HHG2W #1 The Hitchhiker's Guide

    05/01/2010 Duration: 01min

Once upon a time on July 20, 2006 an awkward, wheezy little child named Douglas was born. This is not his story. Rather, we shall deal with a most unearthly podcast that was also born on the same day.The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Whoverse is just what it appears to be... A satirical blatant rip-off of a much more successful publication/volume/franchise, but we shan't trouble ourselves with that minute detail right now. Prepare yourself for some grand anticipointment* as this podcast isn't very good. It wasn't created out of love, more out of abandonment, and it shows. We cannot promise that it will get any better in time, but we can promise that it will be about time. The Doctor's anyway.Episode 1 was originally conceived to be a introduction / promo of sorts. It was our intention to share our humble little production(s) with other [better] and already established Doctor Who Podcasts. Back in 2006 both Podshock & WhoCast answered that call. Because this entry is very promo like we don't get very deep into

Oh my, how did this happen? The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Whoverse had it's origins way back in 2006 when I was trying to come up with a way to participate in my 1st & favorite podcast of the time Doctor Who: Podshock. I made a few initial entries before the rest of my life caught up with me. Thus began a production hiatus that lasted until 2009. I was out of the "game" so to speak because I was actually without a computer of my own for much of 2007 up until spring 2009. Thanks to Cat (@fancyfembot) I was finally brought out of retirement and "properly" introduced to the production side of making a podcast. The Sci-Fi Party Line podcast was my first opportunity to really flex & hone in my podcast audio editing/producing skills. Enter Bridging the Rift: Just last night, as I'm writing this, I was listening to Bridging the Rift #14. I was very surprised when I suddenly heard co-host Nat (@thirtysix) mention my humble Doctor Who audio project HHG2W. He reiterated an idea I had been pondering myself fo
