Tribeca Trifecta – The 2015 Tribeca Film Festival hit New York City in April, and this week, Dave, Barry and Tod recap their experiences at a few of the festival’s most excusive events featuring George Lucas, Christopher and Arnold Schwarzenegger featuring clips from all three events!

Chewie, We’re Home - On April 16th 2015, just as Star Wars Celebration Anaheim was getting underway, Lucasfilm and Disney dropped the 2nd Star Wars: The Force Awakens teaser trailer and nearly broke the Internet in the process.  Dave, Barry and Tod watched it a few dozen times and then started recording.  They break the trailer down scene by scene and share their reactions in this special edition of the Regular Joes Podcast.

Without Fear  - On April 10th Netflix released DareDevil, the first of its ambitious slate of Marvel based TV series. After one particularly bad 1989 Hulk TV movie, and the Abysmal 2003 Ben Affleck film, find out if Netflix finally gave the devil his due. Note: as, Dave and Barry had only seen the first few episodes (while Tod mainlined all thirteen) spoilers are kept to a minimum. Also, random topics and show and tell.

The Dead Walk, The Joe’s Talk Pt. 2.  This week, Dave, Barry and Tod kick it off with a healthy dose of Random Topics, and then they pontificate about the latest season of the Walking Dead.  They discuss the characters motivations and the make predictions for in advance of watching the season finale.  Also, Show and Tell and by special request, Fun with Flashlights.

In Memory of Leonard Nimoy.  This week, Dave Barry and Tod pay tribute to Leonard Nimoy by reflecting on his life and his career.  They talk about what he meant to each of them and the impact he had not inly on Star Trek, but on TV, movies, Sci-Fi and more.  All this plus a healthy does of Random Topics, What’s in the Box and more.

Birdman and Birthdays.  This week, the regular Joes discuss their recent viewing of the Academy Award winning film Birdman…did they love it or hate it?  You’ll need to listen to know for sure, plus Tod and Barry help Dave celebrate a milestone of a birthday with a surprise “What’s in the Box” birthday present.  All this, plus random topics and more, and stay tuned all the way to the end to hear some special Birthday messages from members of the Regular Joes extended family.

On this week’s episode, Dave, Barry and Tod serve up a deluxe helping of Random Topics, side orders of Show and Tell, Regular Joe's Picks and Fun with Flashlights, there's barely room for desert - a special Valentine's Day/Romantic Comedies edition of Desert Island DVD's.  It's an episode so filling you hardly even notice that the Regular Joes never really settle on a show theme.

It's a virtual comic-book, book-club as the Regular Joes gather to discuss 10 recently published 1st issues from DC, IDW, Image and Marvel. Do these "pilot episodes" succeed at setting the hook and capturing the reader's interest? What make a "good 1st issue?" and is there such a thing as a "great first issue?" Also, Dave, Barry and Tod each tell about their respective "firsts."  WARNING: There will be SPOlLERS.  Also: Random topics and a round of Desert Island DVD featuring (non-superhero) films based on comics or graphic novels.

Its Academy Award nomination time, and as usual, all of our favorite films were passed over. To address this gross injustice we establishing THE JOE-CADEMY AWARDS, nominating the films, actors, creators, and characters we love in a wide range of categories that give these epic films their due. The Regular Joes assembled at their Westchester, NY headquarters to record their first show of 2015 live and in person.  Join Dave, Barry and Tod as they exchange gifts, talk about the things they are most looking forward to in 2015 and wrap up 2014 Regular Joes style. Note - you may notice that the audio quality improves at about the 18-minute mark; we had a few audio gremlins during the recording of this episode.  Thanks for listening!    

The regular Joe's don't often drink, but when they do it can be fun to listen to.  So grab your drink of choice and ring in the New Year Regular Joes style as Dave, Barry and Tod indulge in a few cocktails and rundown their favorite shows, movies, music and more from the geek-tacular year that was 2014.

The holiday season is in full swing, and on this episode the Regular Joes serve up some great gift ideas for all the good little fanboys and girls in your life. Dave, Barry and Tod recommend some of their favorite products and  geeky shopping spots, along with a Santa sack full of random topics and more as they prepare to celebrate the holidays Regular Joes style. Note - This is a good episode to play for your friends and loved ones so they know what to buy you this holiday season! 

Still groggy from their Thanksgiving induced food comas, the Regular Joes awoke on Black Friday to the YouTube release of the most anticipated movie teaser of all time, Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Having collectively viewed it a few hundred times, Dave, Barry and Tod do a scene-by-scene breakdown of all 88 seconds worth of awesome. Also, some random topics, including a round of “Which Harrison Ford movie sequel comes next” and a Star Wars edition of Show and Tell.

There's no denying the late Glen A. Larson, producer of Battlestar Galactica, Knight Rider and, yes . . . Manimal, was one of the most prolific creators in the history of television. The Regular Joe's pay tribute to his legacy by reviewing his prodigious body of work and ponder the question, was he a visionary, or, as so many have claimed, a shameless copycat? SPOILER, the answer lies somewhere in between. Ride along with Dave, Barry and Tod as they revisit Larson's 70's - 90's TV series, both good and bad.
