Scarlet Velocity: A Flash Podcast

All hail "The Once and Future Flash". When Barry travels to the future, he discovers that Central City is pretty run down. And Team Flash is disbanded. But Barry wants the answers that can help him in the past. But the only one that seems to have them is Killer Frost, and she's not talking. Future Barry is too miserable to be of any help so Flash gets the old team together to stop some criminals for old times sake. And just by getting everyone back together, he may have done some real good and acquired an important clue in how to stop Savitar. When an unconscious Supergirl shows up at STAR Labs, the team tries their best to revive her, but not before the mysterious Music Meister whammies poor Barry, which connects him with Kara in musical fantasy world. While singing and dancing their way to the end of the faux musical, they learn a little about the importance and strength of their love with Mon-El and Iris. Let your soul and spirit fly, as we sail "Into the Speed Force". Barry dives right into the Speed Force to save Wally. But it's not going to be as accommodating as last time. Until Jay Garrick arrives to take Wally's place, giving them an opportunity to leave. While the team waits for them, Jesse gets impatient and goes after Savitar herself and finds a weakness that they may be able to exploit. After using Julian's mental connection to Savitar, the team discovers that Caitlin has a piece of the Philosopher's Stone in her possession. Cisco vibes Wally to the future, where Wally realizes a disturbing truth about the upcoming wedding. Finally, Wally tries to take matters into his own hands and throws the stone into the Speed Force to protect them all from Savitar. This, as you would expect, goes poorly. Better start preparing for an "Attack on Central City"! After Gypsy appears in STAR Labs and attacks the team, our heroes realize that Grodd has used her to bring his gorilla army to Central City. They have very little time to stop him and he seems to always have the advantage. First he takes control of a General to acquire some nuclear weapons. But when Flash stops that, he gathers forces to attack the city. So Cisco enlists the help of Gypsy to gather them an ally who may be the only one that can help them. Where were you during the "Attack on Gorilla City"? Jesse Quick waited on Earth-1 with Wally, as she dealt with her conflicted emotions concerning their relationship. But Flash, Cisco, Caitlin, and Julian traveled to Gorilla City on Earth-2 to rescue Harry Wells who has been captured by Grodd. Gorillas are wily and cunning (not to mention huge and strong) so the group gets captured quickly and Flash is forced to fight their leader Solovar in an arena battle. But even winning is not enough to ensure their release, so they make a run for it before they're forced to open a breach and bring a gorilla invasion to Central City. What if the villain you were after was "Untouchable"? Clive Yorkin is a metahuman that deteriorates anything he touches and he's out to get the cops that caught him in Flashpoint, and that includes Joe West. Barry continues to train Wally to get fast enough to save Iris, but when Yorkin touches her, it seems like she may die before they expected her to. Luckily, Caitlin is there to keep the danger at bay with her frost powers, which would come at a heavy cost if Julian wasn't there to talk her down. Ultimately it will be up to Wally to stop Yorkin and save the day, just in time for a new threat from Earth-2. On Earth-19 universe hopping is a serious crime, and because HR is hanging out here, he is wanted "Dead or Alive". The powerful bounty hunter Gypsy will use her vibe powers to take him back, unless Cisco beats her in a trial by combat. The team will have to train him to be good enough if there's any hope of saving him though, and there's not much time to do it. Plus, Barry continues to try to figure out exactly how to stop Savitar in four months before he kills Iris. Life can give you nightmares when you are "Borrowing Problems from the Future". Since Barry is having nightmares about Iris's future death, he decides to tell her and the team about what he saw. Caitlin continues to worry about losing control of her power and enlists the help of Julian. And HR works hard to get the STAR Labs museum open to the public. Just in time for the holidays, Flash gives us "The Present". And it's in the form of an ancient box with a philosopher's stone in it. Julian found it four years ago and it turned him into Dr. Alchemy. He doesn't remember any of it though. Since Barry has hit a dead end on Savitar, he decides to enlist the help of Jay Garrick from Earth 3. It works, but then Cisco starts seeing his dead brother and lets Savitar out again. So they decide to get rid of the stone in the speed force. But that may have some unexpected, and deadly consequences. No time to address those emotional problems now, because an alien "Invasion!" has begun! Flash can't handle something like this alone, so that means the epic crossover will bring together Green Arrow, Supergirl, and the heroes from Legends of Tomorrow to save the day. While they're all getting ready to fight the Dominators, Barry has to come clean and let everyone know how things were changed because of Flashpoint. This, and a mysterious message from a future Barry creates a brooding rift among the team. Oliver and Barry stay at the Hall of Justice while the rest go out to get mind-controlled. You don't want to get on the bad side of "Killer Frost". After saving Barry from Savitar, Caitlin's powers are taking over and she tries to find Alchemy, whom she hopes can get rid of them for her. Luckily the team captures her but Joe's gut is telling him to cut Wally out of his cocoon too soon and they'll need the good Dr. Snow to help save an out of control Wally speedster. It's always a little cooler in the "Shade". Or maybe more dangerous when the shadow-mimicking villain starts attacking people and the team has to find a way to stop him. They try to lock him up in the pipeline, but it soon becomes clear that there's no stopping Wally's path back to becoming a speedster. So they use him as bait, which doesn't exactly go as planned. How do you deal with your "Monster"? Barry does it with speed, which is hard when the gigantic monster turns out to be a hologram. Julian Albert has a monster too, but it's his hatred of metahumans and people that don't follow the rules. Maybe when Barry shadows him for awhile, they can become friends and understand each other a little. Caitlin deals with the very cold monster growing inside her and hopes that good ol' Mom can give her a little comfort and affection. It's been a little quiet in Central City lately. "The New Rogues" should be able to take care of that. Sam Scudder and Rosalind Dillon were hit by the particle accelerator 3 years ago. But when Scudder reappears with the ability to travel through mirrors, he breaks her free and Mirror Master and The Top are born. When Flash and Jesse Quick try to catch them, Flash gets trapped inside a mirror. Now he can reflect on his ever-complicated relationship with Iris. "Magenta" isn't just a lovely pinky shade of mauvey-crimson. It's also Frankie Kane, the newest meta-human that is causing trouble in Central City. It's not Frankie's fault though. She's being treated very badly by her foster father and she's had enough. But when she can levitate incredibly heavy objects, Flash might need a little help on this one. Luckily Harrison Wells and his daughter Jesse have opened a breach and returned to STAR Labs. Unfortunately, to Harry, Jesse has developed speed from her exposure to the particle accelerator explosion. Wally's a little jealous too. And he may be a little reckless trying to catch up with her. Sometimes when you grab for the Flashpoint, you get the "Paradox". Now that Barry has totally screwed everything up and everyone's life has changed, he feels that his only option is to go back and try again. But when he tries, good ol' Jay Garrick grabs him and buys him a nice meal in a diner and explains why he better knock it off. Barry's made some changes and he's just going to have to live with them. Even if it means all of his friends are struggling with it. But not all of the Flashpoint timeline has been erased.
