Now that we have laid out our vision for 2024, we are tackling a topic that is critical for the fulfillment of our vision: the priesthood of the believer. Pastor Tony Cooke says, “We need to know who God made us to be so that we can do what God wants us to do.” Viewing ourselves as a Kingdom of Priests is the key to unlocking the pioneer spirit within Kauai Bible Church and propelling us forward in the great things God has planned for us.

Jesus could have come in glory for all to see, but instead He began His journey to our salvation in a way that would forever connect Him to the lowliness of our humanity. In today’s sermon, we look at the plan of salvation that God launched through the first advent of Christ. Understanding salvation should be at the heart of our Christmas celebration.

Long-term missions and equipping indigenous church leaders are the most effective ways to advance the Kingdom globally. However, short-term missions are still important because they transform the ones who go.

We are continuing our international missions theme with the exhortation to Pray, Give, Go. In today’s sermon, we look at the global task of the church to share the gospel with every ethnicity (people group) of the world. Jesus told His church what to do and how to measure it. The question is: will we embrace His purpose with passion? We explore what it takes to be a church that will help to “finish the job.”

Welcome to our International Missions Conference. We are joined by three international ministries. They have spent the weekend sharing with us the stories of amazing things God has done as they have been willing to be obedient to His call on their lives. Today, they will be opening up the Word of God and stirring us up to have a heart for the nations and a passion to be used by God to advance the gospel.

We are in a season of studying the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Our passion is for the Holy Spirit to rest on us (Isaiah 11:2) and to see every believer operating in the gifts that the Spirit has distributed to them. In today’s sermon, we look at the office gifts: apostles, prophets, evangelists, shepherds, and teachers. The office gifts, with key distinctions from the other gifts we have studied, are callings bestowed on individuals that are vital for the growth and health of the church

The serving gifts are Holy Spirit empowered moments when God uses you to minister His grace to meet people’s tangible needs and keep them moving forward.

The vocal gifts are divine moments when an individual is able to share a “right now” message from God to the congregation or to a smaller gathering.

The power gifts are moments of supernatural intervention when the Holy Spirit empowers an individual to change things in the natural realm.

In today’s sermon, we look at the revelation gifts: the word of wisdom, the word of knowledge, and the distinguishing of spirits. The revelation gifts are moments of supernatural insight that allow us to speak or minister into a situation beyond what we could ever do in the natural.
