Through the filling of the Holy Spirit we now have perpetual access to all of the Jubilee promises. In today’s sermon, we lay a Biblical foundation for the connection between Jubilee and the Holy Spirit as we begin this series on the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

In today’s sermon, we study Luke 14:25-35 to understand the importance of pledging our allegiance to Jesus. Modeling a divided faith for our children can be just as or more harmful than modeling no faith at all.

It is not possible to have one without the other. In today’s message, the seventh mark we are looking at is embracing God's gift of limits. A theological and practical understanding of limits is critical to our ability to love God, ourselves, and others over the long haul.

Scripturally, there is a direct connection between loving God and loving people. The sign of maturity in our relationship with God is how well we love in relationship to others.

It is not possible to have one without the other. In today’s message, the fifth mark we are looking at is learning to BE with God before we DO for God. We study the desert rhythms of Jesus’ ministry in Mark 1 to understand the importance of our BEING with God sustaining our DOING for God.
