In today’s sermon, we address our third question of moral purity: What is the danger of moral impurity? There are spiritual and natural consequences to moral impurity that believers should not take lightly.

Advent celebrates the coming of Christ Jesus from three perspectives: coming as a baby, coming into our hearts, coming again to establish His eternal Kingdom. Today, week five of the advent looks at Christ the King as we light Christ’s Candle. In His first advent, Christ came as the suffering servant. In His second advent, He will come as exalted King. We need to remember both this holiday season to have proper balance in our relationship with Him.

Today, week four of the advent looks at love & adoration as we light the Angel’s Candle. We love because God first loved us by sending His Son to the earth. Returning to the adoration of Jesus can rekindle love in our lives.

Meditating on His first and second Advent can restore our joy and make it full this holiday season.

Just as John the Baptist prepared the way for Jesus in the first Advent, so we are to prepare ourselves for the coming of the King in the second Advent.

    At the conclusion of our 50th Anniversary Weekend, we held a prophetic worship night. We opened up the mic for all of our guest pastors and church members to operate in the spiritual gift of prophecy to hear what God has next for Kauai Bible Church. These words are to encourage the church in the promises of God and to stir up and focus the church on God's heart for this next season.
