I messed up a few times...I am not sure if one of the people I mentioned was in Iran and Iraq, and I looked on FB (pictures) and remembered who another student was, but overall I am happy with it. I hope you enjoy it! So I am very sorry Laurie!! Take what you have learned and go make the world a better place! Thank you for coming to Bonas. Thank you for being great. Please stay in touch! 01/09/2015 Duration: 01h37min

Another great episode! Don Swanz graduated from Georgetown and went on to get his Law Degree. After settling in Franklinville NY, he began teaching business law at St. Bonaventure University. He is probably most famous for starting the Bonventure China Program and his love of teaching, Don sat down and talked about his long tenure at Bonas. Great stuff from a great guy and professor. I had the pleasure of taking his classes and having taught with him for many years (and served on a local board with him) and he is consistently one of the classiest people I know. u

Another great conversation!! Paul Baretta speaks on marketing, his time at MTV where he actually was in a Lenny Kravitz video, and much much more. I really enjoyed the conversation and I think you will too! Here is the Lenny Kravitz video that Paul references he is in. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eW2qlKa6oHw BTW, if you went to Bonas, you will love his impressions of SBU and why he selected it over his five other job opportunities (and it is not just because he likes to make snowmen!).

  • Brian McAllister on MBA program and MUCH more

    12/08/2015 Duration: 01h23min

Brian McAllister is the head of the St. Bonaventure MBA program and a long term SBU faculty member in the Accounting Dept. We had a fascinating conversation on his background, some history of the School of Business, basketball, as well as his unknown skill (driving a bulldozer). Brian was born in Brooklyn, grew up in Scranton, went to the Universty of Scranton, and then worked as an auditor in NYC. In 1977 he came to SBU to replace his brother John (who was going to Penn State to get his PhD) and has been here as professor, acting dean, and MBA director since. (maybe my favorite episode yet!)

  • Mike Kasperski (Repeat--first one would not play on correctly nor download)

    17/07/2015 Duration: 52min

NOTE THIS IS A REPEAT OF THE PREVIOUS MIKE KASPERSKI EPISODE. For some reason, the previous version would not play on iTunes. SORRY. Mike Kasperski is a name everyone on campus knows. He is a lecturer in accounting, the Pat Premo Internship Director, and holds about 20 other volunteer positions both on campus and in the local community. He is one of the busiest people I know, gets along with everyone, has oodles of common sense, and is an all-around nice guy. We talk about internships, what a CPA is and how to get the distinction, how alumni can help, the BAA trip to Charlotte, the future of education, and quite a few other things. I think you will like it! jim PS I re-uploaded this as there were some issues with downloading it on iTunes. I hope it works. IF NOT, you can listen to it here (on Zencast)
