Hello everyone! How's it going, it's Adam Roxby here again! I have another article from my time as the student nurse editor for the student nursing times. This time around I am sharing a little book review for a series of books that I found to be really useful when I was doing my training and working hard on the hospital wards in essex.

When students start a course in nursing many believe that they should fear the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). Most people would consider having a tube inserted into your nose and fed down to your stomach as something to generally avoid but when a member of staff needed a competency in this technique I volunteered. I had seen the procedure carried out on a number of patients.
