The 5th democrat presidential debate is in the books and despite past efforts to shield the candidate’s extreme views this time around the abortion debate took center stage.  On today’s episode, Mark debunks each candidate’s arguments on abortion.  Here a few lowlights of the debate: Sen. Amy Klobachar wants to “codify Roe.” Sen. Elizabeth Warren called abortion and “human and economic right” and said only “rich people will get abortions if it is banned.” She also beleives the government “should stay out of it.” Sen. On Monday, despite valiant efforts by UK pro-life groups the British Parliament forced Northern Ireland to remove all limits an abortion. Across the globe democratic nations are decimalizing abortion. In the US, things are a bit different. We still have a fighting chance. Here are some facts: The US abortion rate reached a historic low in 2017. Most pro-lifers would point to the implementation of abortion restrictions, and clinic closures as the reasons. Chemical abortions (done by RU-486, or the abortion pill) make up 39% of the total abortions performed. Of total abortions performed, 88% happen in the first 12 weeks; of that 88%, almost half are done via the abortion pill. The abortion pill, and self-managed abortions are skewing the abortion numbers. This is the battle ahead and I think few are sounding the alarm. Northern Ireland is on the verge of removing all limits to abortion, and some pro-lifers are doing all they can stop that from happening. Ruth Rawlins, Head of Communications for CBR UK, comes on Mark’s show to discuss efforts to censor the anti-abortion message by British MPs, government officials, and billboard advertisers. Why would Democrats try to impeach President Trump during an election cycle? Most would say Democrats are simply obsessed with Trump and can’t help it. But there is more to the story. The reason Democrats are advancing impeachment of the President now has to do with one issue – Roe v. Wade. In 1999, I was with Center for Bio Ethical Reform (CBR) leading the Genocide Awareness Project (GAP). We were invited to take the display to the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC by the UBC Students for Life. Canada doesn’t have a first amendment. Instead, they have the Charter of Rights and Freedoms which doesn’t provide the same freedoms we enjoy here in America. This week, on Tuesday and Wednesday, Created Equal protested at the Presidential Debate in Detroit, MI.  What we encountered from Detroit police was nothing short of police state tactics used to censor our pro-life views.
