In the earliest days of 2017, a new gaming style swept the nation as PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds introduced the world to the Battle Royale. It wasn't long before every 10-year-old had downloaded PUBG on their parents' iPads and joined the hunt for that illusive winner winner chicken dinner. Battle Royale games pit 100 (or some other arbitrary number) players against each other to see who is the very best like, no one ever was. UNRELATED: A new Pokemon game just came out! As children of the 90s and 2000s, Millenials are intimately familiar with the concept of "Edutainment." In an attempt to meet the kids where they were, educators tried their hardest to develop games where the real plot was the lessons we learned along the way. Picture this. You've dedicated hundreds of your limited hours of existence exclusively to The Legend of Zelda: The Breath of the Wild. You've cleaned out every one of the 120 shrines, you've maxed out your health and stamina, and you've found the most rare and powerful weapons. Moreover, you've explored every inch of the map and have literally overturned each and every stone in order to find all 900 Korok seeds--most of which didn't even provide material gain. But, you did it. You have done all of the things and have seen all the stuff. As you nab that 900th Korok seed, you breath a sigh of relief, saying quietly to yourself: "It's over." Triumphantly, you rush to the NPC character who originally set you off on this quest, wondering to yourself what kind of reward could possibly be in store? Maybe some super cool armor or overpowered weapon? Maybe an extra shrine or dungeon or something? You eagerly wait for the Korok's fun and silly dance to conclude, soberly aware this will be the last time you may ever see

After nearly five full years, all four Debaters are actually in the same room for an episode! As a podcast that records almost exclusively remote, this was a lot of fun, but also we didn't have the best equipment for it! So with that in mind, please forgive us if the audio sounds a little different than normal. To distract you from any changes in audio quality, we decided to talk about Fortnite! Join us as we try to appease Elder God Kevin Feige and answer the question, "Which MCU character should be the focus of the next Fortnite Battle Pass?" Matt decided to talk about everyone's favorite Phase 4 film and the giant statue it introduced us to. Todd talks about a character no one even knows but definitely isn't in the MCU.
