Can the "Legacy" of the Flash be preserved? Ralph realizes at the last moment that they can't destroy Cicada's dagger or they will release Eobard Thawne from his captivity. He even makes the heroic gesture of jumping in front of the mirror gun, taking the hit himself. While the team contemplates what to do while Ralph is unconscious, they realize that if they can cure young Grace, it will stop the maniacal future Grace and they won't have to destroy it. Nora steps up and explains that she can connect to her again before it's too late. And while she convinces Gracie to be a good girl, the dark matter in her head has other plans. They realize they must destroy the dagger. This, of course, has been Thawne's plan all along. He does escape and the race to stop him has begun. Though, that is not the biggest problem. Now that they have destroyed the dagger and let Thawne free, the timeline has been changed, and it will have emotional, long lasting effects on everyone. Will "The Girl With The Red Lightning" stop Cicada from destroying all the meta-humans with her new Atomizer? Joe and Cecile go to CCPD to convince Captain Singh to allow any meta that wants a cure to come to the police station. They'll stay and organize that chaos while the rest of the team tries to find Grace before she uses her new weapon. Cisco tests the mirror gun they acquired on the old satellite filled with dark matter and seemingly destroys it. So now they have a plan once they find the angry woman. Nora is eager to help, but Mom and Dad say no. Feeling responsible and capable, she makes a mental connection using Wells's cerebral inhibitor. But when Barry sees red lighting all around her, he pulls her out, she reawakens before discovering Grace's location. Nora stands her ground and tells her parents she's an adult and wants to help stop Cicada. Now with the team at full strength they go in for the final battle. But that's when Ralph realizes something very important about Eobard Thawne. Jay and Josh

Has Nora truly "Gone Rogue"? With friends like Weather Witch, Rag Doll, and the Bug-Eyed Bandit it looks like she may have chosen the negative path. She has recruited her new friends to help her sneak into a site that has some very dangerous meta-tech. And because she's using her newly acquired access to the negative speed force (courtesy of Eobard Thawne) the team can't track her down. Not to mention Barry is feeling a bit of failure as a father. Hopefully by working together they can give her the space she needs and stop her at the same time. They're going to need everyone if they will finally be able to track down Cicada. The speedy daughter is hearing none of her mother's reasoning and storms out utilizing her new-found access to the negative speed force. Do we wish you "Godspeed" this week? Not if that means a new speedster in Central City in 2049. Godspeed is hooked on Velocity 9, and it's up to CSI Nora West-Allen to stop him. These are the adventures featured in her time journal. The team has decided to read it to understand her motivations that made her work with Thawne. She is a young CSI in 2049 and when investigating a case that leads her to a new speedster, the damaged power dampening chip reveals her speed. Like her father she is determined to use her speed for good, but is very angry at everyone that kept it from her. In desperation to catch Godspeed, she visits the imprisoned Eobard Thawne to get some inside tips from the worst speedster of all time. In the process the tragedies she faces leads her to today. The future drops a "Time Bomb" on Team Flash. When Orlin Dwyer wakes to discover that the new Cicada is his time-travelling niece Grace, he is pretty shocked when she reveals that she wants every meta killed, starting with her parents' killer, Vickie Bolen. Barry and the team are hot on the trail, but despite trying to protect Bolen, this new Cicada is even more powerful than her uncle. Ralph is trying a normal relationship with his new, official girlfriend Kamilla, but Ralph keeps putting on pressure to tell her about the team. Sherloque now has the final key to Nora's secret when he discovers a hidden message inside Thawne's old wheelchair. Will all these pressures push them all to the breaking point? Success has many fathers, but "Failure is an Orphan". Thawne tells Nora that something has changed in the timeline, and they must stop Cicada now. So she works hard to find a solution to find the elusive villain. With Joe back on the case, they use Dr. Ambres to find him quickly. At first, Flash can't convince him to take the cure, but when he realizes he needs to talk to him as a father instead of a hero, Cicada agrees. But just as they get finished, another Cicada infiltrates STAR Labs, takes out the entire team, and grabs Orlin. "King Shark vs Gorilla Grodd" One night only! Now that Cisco and Caitlin have completed their work on the meta-cure, they need someone to test it on. Since they have agreed that the cure should only be given to a living volunteer, they have to find someone that would really want to be cured. That's when they remember their flippered-friend from Earth-2; King Shark, aka Shay Lamden. He's being held in an ARGUS facility and studied by Dr. Tanya Lamden. She, of course was married to the Earth-1 Shay before he died. The team's plan to ask King Shark was derailed when he went berserk. And when Barry successfully gave him the cure without permission, the tension in STAR Labs was thicker than chum. All of that had to wait, because Gorilla Grodd was controlling minds again. Luckily, the newly humanized Shay volunteered to be re-transformed into Killer Shark and stop Grodd. But he would never be human again. The "Cause and XS" of changing time can affect everyone. Cisco has successfully developed the meta-cure, but Flash will have to take it away for an hour. In the meantime, Cisco's got a date, Iris writes a story, and Nora is very worried about what will happen when he's gone. And it turns out her worries are warranted when Cicada captures her mother, luring the team into a trap, which leads to the death of Caitlin. Nora is so shocked that she races back in time to stop him, but when she tries someone else dies. Time and time again she tries to fix her mistake, but every possibility leads to tragedy. The more do-overs they get, the more the team begins to catch on. And finally they realize that they have to work together if they are going to find a survivable solution. Get "Goldfaced" with Flash and the Elongated Man as they track down some new tech that will help them stop Cicada. This generator is in the possession of a very dangerous gangster named Goldface. The only way for our heroes to get it is to pose as bad guys themselves. But Goldface is smart and uses power dampeners to prevent them from getting the job done quickly. Keeping up the charade, they have to work for the big bad boss and find some way to still be heroes. Nora tries to get Sherloque off her trail by manipulating him into running into the Earth-1 version of his ex-wives. It works well too, after she convinces him he can have love too. Thanks to Sherloque's new Memory Machine, the team prepares to go inside the memories of Cicada' niece Grace to wake her up. But Nora realizes that the secrets she's been keeping are in danger of being exposed so she decides to risk going in by herself. She soon realizes that it was a mistake as her exit closes and Grace holds the same hatred of metas that her uncle has. Barry and Iris rush in to save her, but get derailed into Nora's memories instead. But when Iris sees the anger that goes along with her daughter's experiences of her father's death, she wonders if she can ever really be a good parent. Cicada has Flash "Seeing Red" this week! After he begins going on another killing spree, the gravelly-voiced villain breaks Nora's back, leaving her paralyzed and Flash more determined than ever to stop him. The team discovers that he's been using the police meta records to track them down. So they need to find a way to protect them before he catches up. Cecile arranges to put them in protective custody, but first the team has to convince them that it's a good idea. They don't trust heroes much, so they ask Norvock to help out. He's pretty bitter and only looks out for himself, but he's scared of Cicada, and they begin rounding up everyone on the list. Caitlin and Killer Frost are having some inner struggle about Cisco's meta cure research. Frosty's afraid that Caitlin my take it, so she tries to stop her at every opportunity. For now, all they have time to think about is healing Nora and getting the others to safety. But Flash's anger may put an end to Cicada in a very un-heroic way. Jay and Josh try not to

Who deserves second chances from "The Flash and the Furious"? As Barry prepares to testify against Weather Witch, some new meta tech controlled by Silver Ghost causes Flash to phase uncontrollably. Nora is thrust into responsibility when called to take Barry's place. Her testimony is enough to convict Joss Jackam, but the bitterness that XS feels towards the villains may be a little too harsh, because young Joss just wants to take responsibility and start over. Unfortunately Silver Ghost frees the stormy villain with the intent of using her power to break into ARGUS. Now she really looks guilty and Nora returns her to custody without even considering the full story. Meanwhile, Cisco's hands are dagger-shard free, but he wants to use those shards to find a cure for being a meta. Killer Frost has other ideas. "Elseworlds Part 1" finds Oliver Queen waking up in Barry Allen's bed. And from there, it just gets stranger. Barry and Oliver have switched places and they are the only ones that realize it. When they try to get help from the team at STAR Labs, nobody believes them. They even lock them up in the pipeline. As our befuddled heroes try to grasp their new abilities, they escape and convince Iris to let them seek out help. That's where Supergirl comes in. She comes back with them from Earth-38 and brings her super cousin along with her. It's a good thing their friends are starting to believe them, because they'll have to stop a super strong robot before it destroys the city! Sometimes "What's Past is Prologue" if you have the ability to time travel. The team tries to find a way to stop Cicada from murdering Metahumans, but the only viable solution seems to be one proposed by Nora. Go to the past, collect items that they can use to neutralize the dark-matter-infused knife that Cicada uses for his powers. It takes a little convincing, but Barry even agrees to let Nora go along with him on this scavenger hunt through time. The first stop is the final battle with Savitar to get a shard from his suit. From there, they must get a transmitter used by Zoom, and finally they need it all affected by the original particle accelerator explosion. Sounds easier than it is, and of course things begin to go wrong. So much that they even have to use an Eobard Thawne from the past to help out. Eventually, they do find their way back, and when they confront the big bad, he proves to be a little trickier than they had hoped. "Oh Come, All Ye Thankful" to the home of Barry and Iris for a Thanksgiving feast. This will be the first Thanksgiving that Nora will remember having with her dad. They are all feeling pretty thankful for the good things in life. Except Sherloque, who is feeling down because of his troubles. When an emergency arises at the power station, Barry sacrifices himself to save the city and Nora has to revive him. This reminds her that she is mad at him for the sacrifice that will eventually lead to his disappearance. While she worries about that, the team discovers that Weather Wizard's daughter wants to kill her father, and she plans on using her piece of weather-controlling Meta Tech to do it. Plus, we witness the birth of the Cicada as he comes to terms with raising and loving his orphaned niece, only to lose her when she is struck down during the Enlightenment.
